Blew my nose and it was like reenacting the blood scene from Zootopia.

Watching Christela. It's a sitcom that takes place for a Mexican family near my neighborhood in a Dallas and the star works in the building downtown where I used to be a member and sometimes go to eat.
I'm still trying to replicate that smoky penne pasta that they made. </threadjack>

I'll just go ahead and blame marketing who didn't do their research on that one.

I think the lesson here is that fortune cookies are made in New York. -

I got blocked on Facebook by someone today for not backing down that equality is important. LOL Only in 'merica do people really feel that inequality is a good thing still in enough numbers to feel that saying it publicly is okay.
The best part is that people are screaming for equal rights while ignoring the glaring inequalities.

If you want a 30 day webroot code, let me know (via PM/Chat). I'm happy to make a couple for people to test, and if you want to purchase, we can move from there.
@Grey with the side hustle over here.
Meh. I'm happier that people aren't spreading infectious diseases.
You have webroot branded condoms?
I'm a little sad that @nic can't get those made now.
Would they have a green W on the tip?
The way that most vendors cheap out on things, it's most likely that it would just be printed with webroot materials, though they'd like get a glow-in-the-dark green ones. Bonus points for green apple flavored!

The UPS is failing.
As mentioned there is some other underlying power problem if a laser printer kicking on is causing a severe power voltage drop.
But even still, the UPS is designed for this purpose and failing.
Buy a new one.
I bet you that the UPS is failing because of the recurring problems with the electrical. Basically, the APC is crappy and it was made to perform more work than it was willing to do so now it's just toast.

APC is like the generic brand of UPS equipment. They make money on volume, and it shows. Get some real UPS equipment!

My Jabra headset has developed the most annoying crackle lately. Any audio source, any USB port, I get pops and cracks like I'm playing a 50 cent pawn shop record with a dirty needle. Anyone have any fixit ideas before I bin these cans (after smashing them to bits of course)?
Corded or wireless?

Get-Service msiscsi might actually return something if I re-enter a remote powershell session with the test server I just rebooted.
<tired>At least it wasn't something important! Imagine rebooting your core networking by accident.

So I'm having some ridiculous issues with Avast Free AV and I'm considering switching to something else.
Details here: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=203267.0What have you got for AV?
I use Webroot. I also resell as an MSP for them, though you'd be better off to get your own key/sub through Newegg and manage it yourself unless you want to incur incident costs when I call you asking why you're checking out www.lemonparty.com and getting viruses at 3am.

Next time I go to one of those, I'm just going to be a @scottalanmiller stalker, bet I'd actually learn something.
Typically the #followsam hashtag works pretty well.
Pro tip: if he enters a parking garage, DO NOT FOLLOW.
I've seen that parking garage now. Gotta wonder how much someone got paid of for certifying that building, even from street level it's obvious that the stairs and such are paint!

I always any attend any conference that I am able to attend, except where I don't attend as a reason of principle. If you're getting the time from work, and they're footing the bill, frickin' go! Even if you're not super interested, you can attend some sessions, learn some stuff (if you learn at least 5 new things, it can be worth it), and you can network with your peers. Maybe you can drop some mangolassi business cards, not to mention the swag and prizes.

Supernatural. We're up to season 3 in about a month of watching one or two episodes per night.

Interviewer: How much compensation are you looking for?
Travis: To move to Seattle? Let me discuss this life altering decision with my wife. Oh, and we are going to uproot the kids too tsk tsk (even if you don't have kids).
That's great until the xmas party rolls around and everyone expects to see your family. Then, you're stuck hiring a fake one from craigslist and you didn't know your wife was an alcoholic... next thing you know, you're naked in a bathtub with your kidney missing.
