And I purchased a 10Gtek ASF85-25-X2-D via Amazon (contacted the vendor and they verified that it was compatible).
....Is it within the realms of possibility they lied to you?

Treat it like a normal migration. Back up mailboxes, remove domain on 365-1 add and verify to 365-2, carry on.
Open a ticket with 365 support, you guys are a partner so get priority.
12GB of data, that includes hi res images, marketing, videos, a few key software installer packages, docs and manuals.

Support from 3rd party, yes. Support from UBNT is email only still. So, that affects things for some.
Is the Unifi line different?
Hugely different. EdgeMax Pro can do much more than the USG for example but the Unifi line gives you all of your devices from a single management tool with tracking and stats between devices seamlessly, also the alerts and reporting is good.
EdgeMax and other devices outside the Unifi range you have to treat like traditional stand alone devices but you get more performance and features as a result.
Given the price of the Edge Router. Might as well do it at the 30-35 mark.
Not discuss Beta features, results, and other topics anywhere but the official Beta forums or through direct email with Ubiquiti staff.
Whatever the reason they wanted to keep this under the hood for now, let's surely support the vendor by not doing what they did not want to happen.

Or both and let JB do it. and maintain spare parts on the shelf. ITSPs/MSPs like ADVERT and ADVERT company will be able to crush this price.
Yes but is that the point?

The biggest killer for me is the cost of service for the AP vs the cost of the APs. $50/yr to add an AC-Lite which only costs $80.
Yeah but you could argue that about any warranty agreement.
There is a market, there is a demand, they have made a service to do it. They are not pulling a Nisco and force people to buy into these warranty agreements.

Isn't this the software that spiceworks keeps trying to push?
A marketing company trying to push products? gasp
@DustinB3403 said in Note to self. Don't buy MangeEngine products:
So the question for @Breffni-Potter is what did you supply to this instance?
4GB of Ram, 2 Procs.
There's no telling what they did to butcher the Linux version though.
If you burn 110K in cash.
And have a team of cyber security experts.
In branding, you normally have a corporate font, which goes on signage, posters, logos, business cards, properly designed materials.
Then you have a machine font, which can be one of the many installed ones or it could be a paid for one. This is up to each company.
Fonts do matter, they make one heck of a difference to a companies image, there are good reasons why you would want an obscure font.
As for the third party, tell them to use a different font, problem solved. Helvetica is a zero effort choice because its the default that most Macs start with same way that Arial of Calibri is on Windows.
So, what footage will you be editing?
What compression will be applied? AVCHD? MP4? What data rate
How many video files layered to be played at once on the timeline?
This drives the storage question. For 90% of 1080P editing. A single 7200RPM mechanical is absolutely fine. SSD makes it 4x quicker.
There really is not much point looking at heavy specs with CyberLink, most of the bottle-neck will be the software.
Soon as you get near
Premier Pro
Final Cut Pro
Avid Media Composer
Then you start to really think about editing power in detail.
Perfect. Create a share on the file-server for video projects, ask them to store all the footage on there in working folders (i.e Mango Lassi Conf 10-03-2017 ) which they can drag and drop from the server onto a local SSD.
Make sure they setup Cyberlink to store cache files and footage into that working folder, then copy it back onto the file-server for backup.
They are pretty much at the point of using even 4-8GB of Ram with an ok business PC, just give it an SSD.
Buy the whole system with good soundcard, graphics, Mobo and proc combo when they are ready to take a step up with editing, for now I'd class it as hobby level editing.

@Breffni-Potter I bet your prices are way higher than ones to the US or Canada.
Who knows, but why turn people off a good product with regional pricing. They can find out otherwise.
Deployed a HPE server last year. Painful beyond belief. Making me twitchy about using them again.
Because its a race to the bottom commodity service.
Give up the idea that you can get good service for cheap these days. It just does not work. You need to pay more if you want good service.

Well there is this FANTASTIC company out there called Dara IT. You can choose from a list of providers and they do all the config, handle billing, support. Oh it is a dream to work with those guys.

I got there before SAM did
Different alerts have been posted on this site guys, This is why we update and patch and watch for notices from vendors.
Exploits have and are found on a regular basis, the vendors then patch like lightning to prevent it.
You can do your research and google your hypervisor of choice to see previous patched vulnerabilities.
