Well, the beta testing of ONLYOFFICE Android app was completed successfully, and the stable version is already available on Google Play with all the new features

The next step will be to add local docs editing (without connecting to ONLYOFFICE portal). There are a lot of requests to add the possibility to connect the app directly to Nextcloud. Hope that we will also be able to add that.

We have both free and commercial builds. Just take ONLYOFFICE Community Edition (to be more exact Document Server that is a part of CE) if you need a free one. It is easy.

CE has some limitations - up to 20 users. The license is AGPL v3

Integration Edition (IE) is a commercial build, a way of delivering our Document Server to enterprises.

That's right ONLYOFFICE uses OOXML (docx, xlsx, pptx) as core formats and is aimed at replacing MS Office. We work with ODF using conversion.

The new version of ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is available. The app contains document, spreadsheet, and presentation editors. It is distributed on terms of AGPLv3 license.

What’s new:

• Flip, rotate and crop images, align them to pages, margins, and slides (alignment and placement options apply to shapes too).

We do not expect storage space problems soon as we use the network for password storing and transferring only.

At the moment the network is for testing purposes only, but yes we are working hard to prevent issues that might occur. We also presented this technology at two IT conferences in Europe, and the majority of questions asked were about the network))
