Slightly off topic... Is the GAL still the best place for shared contacts in O365? I've seen discussion of using a public folder, but I'm not sure it this is preferred or even desirable. I thought PF were taboo.

@Mike-Davis Not sure if you saw my post. According to their website, NextCloud does offer an anonymous file upload option.

It's always windows fault....
Perhaps it would be good to review the event logs to see why the service failed before jumping to conclusions.
