Is it just these ports? is anything else dropping at the same time that your are unaware of on this host? have you tried accessing the host using putty on another machine?

@dafyre On waiting list for a year, still probably got to wait another 8 months. Not looking forward to it to be honest, but hopefully they can fix the hernia and stop my reflux, been bringing up blood because of it for the last few weeks, not nice at all...

@FATeknollogee Sorry I'm used to Debian based distro, yep that sounds right if using fedora. you can also check with journal command:

journalctl -r /usr/sbin/sshd

The Inotify errors are to do with file system. you want ssh logs. /var/log/auth.log

This past weekend one of my KVM hosts has started acting funny.
It's refusing connections on ports 22 & 9090.

I was able to use the new Relay feature on MeshCentral 2 to connect via LAN but this connection only stays on for 15 secs then disconnects.

@IRJ I've moved Wordpress to different servers quite a few times.

1. I normally deactivate any wordpress plugins first.
2. I export the sql to a file.
3. I copy all wordpress files from the Public_html Directory to a tar or zip.
4. I then create a new database and database user on new host.
5. I edit the WP-Config.php file and change to reflect the new database details.
6. I then import the sql to the new database using phpmyadmin.
7. Upload the compressed file and extract on new host into the Public_html folder.
8. activate the plugins again.

(You don't have to change the database details, you could create the same, but why the hell not change the password while your at it)

I was hoping this one wouldn't be allowed through.

Do you people have any other suggestions, while running servers on cloud for the first time? might be about security or something else?

You treat the security the same for any public server, being cloud makes no difference. If you not sure on how to implement server hardening I would get a managed service.

I'm with Scott on this, but if you are looking for a free hosting control panel check out ISPconfig. I use this myself.
