RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@RojoLoco That is exactly why I hate buying a car... It doesn't matter what I end up paying for it, I always feel screwed.

@BRRABill In my experience, yes, every sales person (particularly ones that work on commission) is trying to take advantage of you.

I really like the rack, its on casters so I can roll it where i want it, then roll it out of the way if not using it.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@Dashrender I personally purchased the servers switch and pdu (mostly ebay) myself and got my employer to purchase the rack since they are always complaining about how unorganized my office is

RE: How to Reset Local Administrator Password on Server
I've reset a lost domain administrator account before. Here is what I did.
- Used Offline Password and Registry boot utility, reset the administrator password (This is the Directory Services Restore Mode password)
- Once booted in directory services restore mode I created a script that launched at startup that ran as the system account the script ran the "net user" command to reset the domain administrator password.
- Rebooted the server into normal mode, the script ran when the computer started up and I was able to use the password I set in the script. Then I made sure to remove the script from startup.
