Do you have these recommended hotfixes installed?
@BRRABill said in Strange XS7 Issue:
From a little back and forth on the XS forums, it appears others are also having this issue.
And get this ... only affects Linux VMs. I installed a new Windows VM instance, and it works perfectly.
THAT is a head scratcher.
Have you tried using "Other install media" template to create new Linux VMs?
Uninstall XenServer tools from mint and try mint without the tools.
Is XenServer installed on hard drive or USB?
@JaredBusch
Epson projectors are pretty good.

I should mention that I'm managing my desktop with Salt from the desktop itself.

Which is 'better'
Mapping by IP or FQDN?
FQDN. It a lot easier to move data between servers if users are mapped with FQDN. Especially if using Dfs Namespace.
Is most of theses annoyances like the game bar available on windows 10 enterprise?
Has anyone ever used or seen this automower before?
Looks pretty cool but its expensive.

Not sure why it didnt. Perhaps there was an orphaned/hidden vdi leftover from some point in the past.
I just checked to make sure it was able to host vms, then moved on. Reinstalling a host takes about 10 minutes, ill get around to it eventually.Yeah it is relatively painless, though always makes me nervous!
I am considering moving off the USB onto a RAID array for boot. (I have a spare one sitting unused.)
Backup VDI info. Reinstall XS to RAID array. Restore VDI info.
Should be relatively painless.
You can avoid a lot of headaches by not installing XenServer on USB.
@Tim_G By default Korora 25 Gnome is using Wayland and believe Korora 25 Cinnamon is still using xorg. Maybe that's why the Gnome version is working for you.
@wrx7m Temporary set SELinux to permissive.

Suspend, hibernate. neither one works like it should on my 2015 MBP
Have you tried Korora 25 Gnome or Ubuntu 17.04?
@jrc I don't think so. This might help. http://www.displaylink.com/products/universal-docking-stations
@jrc Korora 25 Gnome, Fedora 25 Gnome, and Ubuntu works pretty well with my Dell Latitude 3440. Sticking with Dell or HP would be a good starting point.
Have anyone noticed tar package is not installed when using Fedora 25 minimal?
