I was going to try to set up Zabbix at home this weekend. Alas, I’m probably going to run out of time.
Installing Zabbix on the latest CentOS was easy.

An HTML5 based Hyper-V Management platform with VM web-console, similar to Kimchi-Project, but for Hyper-V.
Does it matter if it hosted on a Windows and/or Linux? Because PowerShell will be the key. On Windows, the necessary PowerShell modules is already available to make it possible to manage Hyper-V.
I found this years ago while looking for an web based Hyper-V Manager. Its pretty basic but it's possible.

Is there a way of telling which avenue a host has come to be?
- Was it installed as a free Hyper-V host only?
or
- Was it originally a windows machine with the Hyper-V role added later?
If so, how?
In the command prompt type: msinfo32.exe
In the System Summary > OS Name, the value will say Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2016 or Microsoft Windows Server 2016 -

Speaking of LE why doesn't ML use LE for their CA?
Using CloudFlare's cert.
How is traffic encrypted between CloudFlare and ML? Self-Signed (or LE) Cert on ML?
In CloudFlare, you can actually create a free tls certificate for your server.

RE: Using 1MB Block Size Virtual Disks for Linux VMs on Hyper-V
@tim_g said in Using 1MB Block Size Virtual Disks for Linux VMs on Hyper-V:
I'm wondering if that specific part of guide is still relevant... the 1MB block size .vhdx. I mean, is it still recommended if using XFS instead of ext4? It mentions it for ext4, but I don't use that anymore.
I wouldn't be surprised that the recommendation was based on Ubuntu/Debian installs, since they use ext4 by default. Installing Fedora Server and CentOS uses XFS instead.

LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice vulnerable to same bug; only one is fixed
LibreOffice, an open source clone of Microsoft Office, has patched a bug that allowed attackers to execute commands of their choosing on vulnerable computers. A similar flaw in Apache OpenOffice remains unfixed.
LibreOffice is on another level compare to OpenOffice. Why is that project still alive. Development is fast and there are more options for installing LibreOffice.

Reading some old random posts on Ubuntu Forums.
https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2298150the computer club teacher walked over and said, "are you using linux?" I was like, "Yes." Then he said, "Linux isn't allowed at school." I asked why and he was like, "Linux can be used for hacking, and you can get into our servers from the terminal."
