I don't know if I personally would be hung up on that domain name.
As in, if I could sell the current domains for $5k and buy something else, I should probably do that? LOL

I have been using hubspot for about 5 years. When we started you had to sign on for at least $1,000 per month.
Now they have free options and you add services as you go. I just reviewed about 15 crm/marketing apps for a new venture and hubspot still wins for me hands down.

@bigbear Not surprising that there is a non-VOIP site using that name. Super generic unless you are @scottalanmiller or @JaredBusch. The rest of the world will likely think "I want something to sip on..." But then again, I have a healthy work/life balance, in that I don't obsess over tech stuff 25 hours a day. Which of course makes me the odd man out, but hey, I like other things besides IT (I'm such a freak).
LOL, yeah I could almost go Big Bear's VOIP Wharehouse and if the price and delivery was good it would work just as well.
There are some more professional names I have singled out that are available. I would post them for feedback but I would want to acquire them first.

Nothing in the names tells me that you are a supplier. But that is not really a concern as lots of places are similarly lacking in that respect. Just something to think about.
The names themselves flow easily in thought and speech. So that should not be a detriment to recognition.
Yeah when you think VOIP SUPPLY I suppose its very clear. Although I had a grandiose vision of having video/tutorials and how-to stuff, cool T-Shirts. You know, the SIPDOJO, a place to come and learn how to use SIP, talk about SIP, buy SIP hardware, etc. I have learned from previous business ventures that all these things usually dont end up amounting to a hill of beans.
At the time I bought the domains I was working with a lot of developers and SIP was a more commonly used term than VOIP. I am not sure acquiring VOIPDOJO.com would be any better though...

What kind of drinks does the sip ninja drink at the sip dojo?
Ironically, a company makes a product called "SIPNINJA" that has nothing to do with SIP/VOIP. They make Ninja Blenders and have a cup they now call Nutri Ninja instead of SIP NINJA.
But I always thought the intended audience would get it... but IDK...
This isn't link bait because there is nothing there but the logo I made myself. Just looking for feedback before I get real branding done and start working on the website, etc. I will definitely be advertising whatever I do with mangolassi
I bought sipdojo.com and sipninja.com a while back from a broker and have intended for a while to use it as a brand for my VOIP equipment business.
I always thought the SIPDOJO concept would be cool and the intended audience is mostly IT Managers and Resellers. I am just having last second doubts about whether it would be a good brand or inspire much confidence.
Would love your feedback... I am still at a point where I could acquire another .com and probably sell these off.

@brianlittlejohn We used voipsupply.com
They had everything we needed and the price seemed right. If you create an account and login you'll see the better, non-MSRP, pricing.
We like them and they are local to us here in the Niagara region.
You live in Texas now don't you?
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego Scott Alan Miller lol
VOIP Supply actually ships a lot of Yealink from Texas as they are just reselling another distributors inventory. Because of that they arent the best price I have seen out there either. Baltic is probably better.
If it doesn't cost you anything, often YOU are the product.... except with FOSS
With FOSS I dont think the same maxim holds true.
FreePBX, for example, is not like Facebook. FOSS means a group of developers contribute and benefit from a common set of code. Everyone wins, for the most part.
A free hosted service, like Facebook, isnt free. You are the product, your attention is sold to ad marketers.
I would go Yealink. FreePBX is on top right now but in a couple years there may be other strong options. Sangoma phones are locking you in to a vendor.
I would say the equivalent Yealink featured phone is half the price of a Sangoma phone. Yealink MSRP can be deceiving.
@dashrender im really looking for a new tv show, have even double watched a couple series
@dashrender would you say its cringey though in the beginning? Just trying to see if its a matter of taste, or when it turns the corner.
For example Spartacus was corney as hell for at least 2 or 3 episodes then I got into it.
@jaredbusch The first 15 minutes the 100 Season 1 Episode 1 have been pretty cringey. Does it get better?
@dashrender I would say just use a different app for the surgical photos. I cant imagine this is "HIPAA Compliant" anyway.
Or they could have had Ed Sheeran walk up to Bran Stark and sing "when your legs don't work like they used to before..."
How bout that Ed Sheeran Lannister cameo?
I kept hoping Arya would kill him and take his face as a mask, then every murder by arya stark would be ed sheeran killing someone.
@scottalanmiller nice price, how long have you been on it?
UPDATE: Have only wrecked into my house a couple times. Have also been very cavalier with flying it all over town since I got such a great deal on it. LOL.
I will try to upload some video.
Still cant believe Amazon let that snafu go out the door.
