      @DustinB3403 actually the sites redirects me to citrix site, so i gues is the same.. what troubles me now is the edition..

      how do i know that i have standart or enterprise?

      @Alket_tux i gues you are right :D.. the question is when i run lsb_release -irc i get:

      xenenterprise 7.0.0. **** as i have downloaded xenserver 7..

      but the download link says standart edition.. can you explain me which is free, or which edition i have?

      @aaronstuder at the first site i found xenserver 7.1 whereas at the second the lattest is 7.0..
      another thing,, this versions come with trial? i know about the second link, but what i am intersted is the first

      i wanted to know something about xenserver and citrix same product..

      from the above page i can download XenServer enterprise edition that is the open source version?
      2-https://www.citrix.com/downloads/xenserver/product-software/xenserver-70-standard-edition.html

      and from the second one i can download citrix xensever standart edition, becouse i do not get it??

      @black3dynamite it does not work with debian either. my guess is that XenServer searches for the linux kernel on the path that debian should have it, but VyOS has the kernel on another path..
      is there a way to tell xen to search for a certain kernel path?

      will this work?
      xe vm-param-set uuid=<VM uuid> PV-bootloader-args="--kernel <kernel location> --ramdisk <initrd location>"

      @brianlittlejohn thanks, i have another question, if i install windows 2012 r2 standart on my bare metal server with 2 processors, and i enable hyper v as a role:

      1- I need one licence as there are 2 processors ?
      2- do i get to have 2 virtual machines (WS 2012 r2 Standart) for free?
