Is the phone provisioned via a provisioning server via config files? (Do the phones ever reach out to check for a new config?)

Reading through the site to get a grasp on changing over my XenServer installation to KVM.
This site? Good luck, lots to read from today.
Yep, this site. I've been following the posts from today pretty close. I currently manage XenServer with XO via web. Which is great, so I can see console, etc. I assume KVM has the same functionality?
Virt manager, not sure how it would be managed like XO
KVM does have a web management interface, but I'm forgetting what it's called because I don't use it.
The one I'm aware of is called WebVirtMgr (https://github.com/retspen/webvirtmgr)... Looks like they're changing the branding, etc
I just RDP into my Mint18 box and run Virt-Manager from there.
Well that's doable. That's how I manage a Hyper-V box at the office. Open my Windows VM, and use HV manager from there. So very similar.

Right, the web interface on these devices have a lot of options that you can set, especially if you upgrade to the latest firmware, which can also be updated straight from Polycom servers, right from the web interface.

Trying to install Fedora from a bootable USB stick. Got 2 errors trying to install from different sticks... I hope it's just a bad ISO. Downloading a fresh copy and trying again.
I do that pretty often, tends to work pretty well.
So actually, it was my existing raid array. I blew it away, recreates it and initialized it and it worked immediately. Just got done with the fedora install

RE: Xen Orchestra SMB Remote problem
So circling back to this, I was determined to add an SMB remote backup share. Instead of adding a remote SMB backup share through XO, I just mounted the SMB share through Ubuntu where XO is installed. In this case, I mounted to /Backups. Then setup a "local" remote in XO that points to /Backups. Backups are now running and being stored on a remote computer.

@fuznutz04 And this is your PC right?
No I have a Dell 710 server at home. So I had to blow away the raid array on the controller.

Might be a dumb question, but are you logged in as a user or admin? Default password for an admin is 456

Who are you and what have you done with @scottalanmiller ... Actually using FreeNAS for something?
I was just about to say the same thing. Or maybe his account was hacked.

Fresh install of Hyper-V 2016. Sick of trying to deal with a broken Hyper-V manager on Win 10 1709.

RE: Edge Router lockup
This ERX was installed about a year ago and was the first "test" with this product line. I don't have ERX boxes at any clients, but we still use it here. When it runs, it runs rock solid, but when it locks up, there's nothing to be done except reboot.
Perhaps switching to an ERL would alleviate this issue. I just hate not having any clue as to why it happened.

Does anyone know if we have a good thread that explains how to manage Hyper-V without a domain? I know this comes up a lot, but is there a "how to" that someone has written? I need to link it for someone.
I am doing an upgrade ( fresh install) of hyper-v 2016 this weekend. (Workgroup environment) I’ll try and write something up afterwards.

anemic
Well, without logs, I can't really troubleshoot anything. So if it happens once more, I'll probably just replace it with an ERL.
I love my ERX as well. Runs flawlessly since I installed it at my home. And aside from this issue, it runs flawless here at the office when it's working.

Playing with Wiki.js on Fedora. So far, I love the look/feel of this as a wiki.

Photo storage -Flickr vs Google photos vs ?
What does everyone use for centralized photo management of their personal photos? I've been thinking of utilizing Nextcloud for this, since I have a VM at home with Nextcloud, but I'm looking for a bit more "photo related" functionality that Nextcloud provides out of the box. (editing, etc) Maybe there is something I haven't found yet.
Requirements:
- Central repository of photos from multiple devices (phones, DLSR, etc)
- Basic or even a little more advanced photo editing/touchup
- Tagging
- Free or small monthly fee.
- If storing in the cloud, must have an easy way to do my own full library backup.
Bonus
- Ability to upload from IOS devices automatically
- Facial Recognition is a bonus
*** Must be wife friendly***

I just checked mine. 2 spice ups, and 0 in every other category. That shows how much I use Spiceworks anymore.
