How is it compared to XCom?
So far the main missions are just the same controls and view. But the base building is a little different and is taking a bit of getting used to. But it's a game i'll be playing until completed
*Edit - of course new story line and new "aliens" to kill
-
Scheduled to play Fairytale Mysteries 2: The Beanstalk with my kids tonight.
-
Division is out! work and apts with the kid haven't let me dig in too much yet. but its kewl

Not my kind of game but it looks really good. I've been watching it for a while. I'm sure I'll get that one when it is cheap.

Probably not of great interest to this crowd, but Big Fish Games has a 50% off sale today.
-
Game night with the kids. Got in some Final Fantasy III and playing FairyTale Mysteries 2: The Beanstalk now.
Found a bunch of educational Kids Games that are popular on the Wii on Big Fish today, so the kids have been having fun with those today.

Anyone played Space Marine? Wondering if it's worth the £4.99 it's for sale on at the moment...
Played some CrossFire last night, decent FPS game if anyones not heard of it
-
Playing Bookworm Adventures with the wife.
-
Installing Halo. Can't get BF1942 to work on Windows 10.
Might play Sticky Grenade Catch with some Elites -
... or just shoot them in the face
-
FFS this isn't working either. My catalogue of workable old games is growing thin. Most irritating.

At the moment, I just started playing Oniguri. I like it so far, it's pretty fun actually. It's cool that abilities are different per weapon and they can level up! The game doesn't have the polish of the more mainstream MMOs out there, but it's fun and that's all that counts for me
-
I did also start playing Grim Fandango, but I have to have a faq to get me through the game
Does that mean I suck? Hahaha
The game gives extremely few hints!
Ummmmm there was this free game I beat that is likely an ode to the old NES Metroid....I can't think of the name right now, darnit! (it's on PS4, it was part of the free game releases for this week or month? Not sure how that works) -
so The Division is addictive. the PvE world is great, keeps you busy. then there's a PvE/PvP zone with some rules in place that make it very fun and stressful. gather gear from NPCs and you can hunt other players, which then puts a bounty on your head. You've got to extract gear before you get killed and lose it all.... it's just fun.

Have you gotten stuck in a room because someone is doing jumping jacks yet?

no. they limit the "world" to 24 players i think. so unless you're actively pursuing folks in the DZ(pvp zone), you dont run into many folks that aren't your teammates. also a very team based game. the talents/skills/perks/etc are setup like a RPG, but encased in a 3rd person shooter.
