I've slowly been getting really bored with video games and about 2 weeks ago I just naturally decreased the amount of playtime until I eventually just stopped playing altogether. I actually have no desire to play currently, unsure why. I've been reading a lot and building stuff on my home server in the mean time.
I go through spurts of that myself. Sometimes you just have to stop and pretend to have a social life or something. Then I snap out of it and spend 8-12 hours playing on a Saturday or something.

It's kind of like--when I was a kid you hung out with people to just be around them and have fun. Now it seems like everyone is just concerned with being the authority on something and waiting for their turn to speak. It's not a fun way to interact with people and I've devolved into dreading in-person conversation now unfortunately.
With that said, I find myself being dissatisfied a lot. I'm not sure what to do about it in general.

Finally bought DragonQuest Builders over the weekend.
Fun game so far.
There are bits and pieces of lore related to the world as it existed in the time of the descendant of Elric. Not far enough along to know what that all entails yet.

Well since my 7:30 appointment is running late might as well ask what great games (with awesome graphics) you guys are playing that are available for Linux?
Preferably from an official repo.

Yeah don't think I've picked up a controller for 4-5 months. Do fancy picking up GTA again was enjoying it when I last played.
Did try Civ6 but played for few hours and got board. -

Did try Civ6 but played for few hours and got board.I've been playing Rust (still be beta) and it's been a lot of fun, the game is purely survival PVP. It can be difficult to get used to, as it's usually kill first ask questions later.

There are a lot of great troll videos of Rust out there

Yeah when I bought it I figured it would be a high def Minecraft (which is kind of is), except that there is way more kill to survive, along with avoiding being seen by others to avoid your house from being raided.

It depends what kind of game you like. Total Warhammer is supposed to be fantastic... but that's only if you like the Total War series of games and the complexities, real or not, that are associated with them . I haven't played it yet but it's on my get when it's on sale list.

Going the opposite way of most I'm assuming. Using OpenEmo on my Mac to play some favorites from the past.
I have been playing Tecmo Super Bowl with teams and rosters from the USFL and the WLAF. Took the Birmingham Stallions all the way!! Joe Cribbs and Cliff Stoudt led the way. Trying to get the Ohio Glory to some glory. Tough to do because they suck LOL
Baseball I went to Triple Play 98. I played THE HELL out of this game when it was out, so it's fun to play it again. Struggling with whom I should start in RF...Vladimir Guerrero or Henry Rodriguez.
Basketball I went to NBA Live 2003. Got a sweet team led by Chris Webber and Michael Finley. Bo Outlaw comes off the bench for some spark.
Also Stampede on Atari 2600. When I was small, I played that game nonstop. Fun to play it again from time to time.

Oh. Well, I may need to buy a PS4 anyway because arcsys refuses to port Guilty Gear games in a timely manner--or at all sometimes.
