GPP Favorites setting applied to Default user not logged in user

I have GPP adding 8 shortcuts that are assigned to go to %FavoritesDir% which I would naturally assume to mean the favorites folder of the user who is logged in.
Instead they are going into C:\users\default\favorites.Additional information: I am redirecting favorites for everyone in this GPO to \servername\users$%username%\favorites This part is working correctly.

OK I solved this. I can't push out user things in the computer GPO - duh! The policy would be applied before the user even logs in. I was getting hung up to much on the fact that you could even do it in the computer policy.
I've moved them all to my User GPO.

Exactly - I wrote the post, visited the thrown and it just dawned on me... DUH!... LOL

The process of writing stuff down for others is a great way to get a new perspective even if the others never see it.
