I do karaoke from time to time.

Backing as in backup singer?
-
I host Open Mic Night every Tuesday night and usually can be found singing karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights.
-
@technobabble No, backing as in I play as well as (more than in fact) sing.
Piano/guitar/drums/banjo (the last one is a bit of a joke, I never got terribly far with that one and have certainly never sang with it :)) -
I can actually play banjo, but it has been a very long time.

Wow, I finally found the end of this thread!
I'm Chad from Novi Michigan. You may recognize my pic though it ain't me. I love having a community of IT folk to learn from and I hope I can contribute. Outside of my professional work I am serious reader who can't wait to get hold of the new Richard Preston book. I have a puppy and a Redwood tree. Two redwoods actually, and I plan to plant one of them in the wild and the other is staying at home as an experiment in what could possibly go wrong?
When I'm not in work mode I enjoy a good bit of fun reading, hanging with our friends and this may shock some of you, inappropriate humor. -

First post in this thread in a month but gotta keep it going. Hola, my name is Mike based out of NorCal's great Gold Country. I'm a Help Desk Jockey, fixer of broken things, Walk-in Magic Man, & a Punny guy for a Co-op.
I play games, I drink beer, & I eat Bacon. I'm here to learn, have fun, get caught having fun, then get sent to the principals office & probably get suspended for a day. -
@J1MM3RT Welcome, again
-
Welcome
-
Thought it would be rude not to add something on here.
My name is Gabi (Short for Gabriel) which means I do not have breasts and a vag, full bloodied male. (some times people get confused and of course, disappointed when they see me walk in)
Originally from Spain, moved to the UK when I was 8 (sound English now) and moved near Melbourne (Australia) in January 2014.
Erm and that is about it, like all tech stuff
Thanks,
G.

Hi, Ken from The Email Laundry. Katie told me about you so I had to take a look. If you have any bizarre email troubles I'm always worth a shout. If I don't know the answer there's definitely a few people within a shoe throw who can help.
-
Cool Welcome! We love @KatieUnitrends

Coming from SW, Scott invited me to check things out here. I'll try and lurk in both communities for a while. I have a CIS degree and have been in SMB IT for 8 years. I'm 1 of 4 IT people where I work currently (~180 employees) and underutilize my talents working helpdesk mostly =\ (but the pay is good). I also run my own IT consulting company doing after hours support (enough to work as much or little as I want).
