        All of your questions revolve around one thing:

        How fast is the WAN between the two sites that are running XenServer?

          That pretty much sums it up. You basically just asked how long it takes to pump water from one place to another but didn't tell us the size of the pipe that the water will go through. That's the biggest factor.
