Got my refund today via Paypal. I checked my account with C@C, and they now show that I owe for the amounts that were refunded. I've submitted a ticket to have my account closed and the invoices voided.
I didn't even check it to see if the billing show anything. That's there problem since they did not even response to the paypal claim. And they have no credit reporting ability from the info they have so it's all on them.

I'd rather take the time now to close the account properly so that they don't start harassing me for payment months down the road.

Cloud@cost is going to be bankrupt.

Going to be? Future tense?

Received emails from their billing department asking for payment. Replied with my open support ticket number where I requested that they close the account and void the invoices.

I've noticed that all of their participation has ended. They kept talking big about wanting to be in the community. But the moment an issue arises they run away completely.
-
IMO, their participation was sporadic even when the wheels weren't falling off.

They were doing okay for the first few weeks. But the wheels started falling off really soon with that first major outage and no ability to answer questions about why it happened. They gave some lame excuses about getting the right resources and never answering as to why they didn't have network redundancy and never really participated again.

I think that was the issues they wanted to avoid answering them.

Well, they've deleted my account on their site, which I'm hoping also clears up the outstanding invoices since that is what they were tied to.
Not surprising, but they still haven't deleted my Panel account.
-
@Danp small steps. They are probably pretty overwhelmed.
-
@Danp why does it matter? There is nothing they can do about it. Charge backs are a legal right.

Paypal said they requested to hear back from CloutatCost by the 18th and it's now the 19th. Still no updates on my claims. Any way I can proceed from here?
-
@thecreativeone91 It matters because I want them to just "go away" and not become that pesky mosquito buzzing around and pestering me about payment for two outstanding invoices.
-
@handsofqwerty Give it a little more time and you will likely get you refund from PP.

That would be a question for Paypal.

I can't find a way to reach out to them though.

Have you checked the status of your claim in the Resolution Center?

Yup, and I see no way to escalate it or contact PayPal.
