There are no certificates. This is not certificate training. These are non-credit college courses. This is for education, not for certification. Great resource if you want to get an absolutely top notch college education, but useless if you want a degree or certs for your resume. All depends on your goals.

@scottalanmiller Yes.the courses are free but they also provide certificates for the courses for that money should be paid.I saw a Linux course where they provide the certificates

Most colleges let you Audit classes for cheap or free. But it means nothing in the grand scheme as you get no real proof of it. The certificate $90 is not a certification, just a piece of paper stating you took the class... A way to make money of the misinformed. It's not worth it. Most places even asking for Linux/Unix aren't asking for a certification any way and certainly not that one.

I would give credit to job applicants who had done these courses, even if they didn't have a certificate. Sure, they could be lying about taking them, but I work on the basis that what people say in interviews or write on their resumes are true, unless proven otherwise.
EdX comes from MIT, so it has the pedigree. I think it's fantastic. Free, online eduction to anyone in the world from top Universities. It's genuinely revolutionary.
Worth looking at these major players as well:

I might actually be MORE impressed by people taking classes for free. School for the purpose of learning rather than to pay for a piece of paper.

Thanks my dear friends I have got an idea about the online classes. Thanks my ML friends

If you took Linux classes, use the skills to build a portfolio. That's free whereas certs are expensive. Even at $90, that isn't cheap.

@scottalanmiller Yes.$90 is not cheap for me to enroll

It's not cheap here either for a certificate of "participation."
