Nice. I assume that that is the consumer version, though.

Drat! I would have loved a consumer version for a year, but I don't have an Ipad

I love the iPad. We are iOS standard here. iPhone and iPad for everyone. It's great. Really solid platform. I got an Android tablet to test and it didn't hold a candle.

I understand why you say that - I just hate apple's ecosystem (it's an old prejudice that I just haven't given up yet - but at the time I hate the locked in nature)
-
I'm no Apple fan and think Macs are pretty awful. But the iOS platform really won me over.
-
@scottalanmiller Been using a mac for work for over a year now (I was forced into it) but surprised how much I like it. If you have an iPhone or other iOS devices, they work so well together, Apple has done a phenomenal job with integrating multiple devices/services.

I have those and @minion-queen and @katie are on Macs now. I plan to get one this year but I don't have high hopes for it. My last one was so awful that it was turned into a DVD players a few weeks after buying it.

@scottalanmiller I think you will be surprised, give it a fair shot. The hardware/software compatibility is infinitely better than windows. Give it a couple months to sink in, but I bet you by 6 moths you will love it. (If you are already a Unix fan)

We were members last year and while we generally liked it found that we just never used it and now we are back where there isn't one again.
