Pinned Tabs in Chrome
-
I don't know how I never knew about this but I just last night discovered pinned tabs in Chrome. This is by far one of the most convenient things about Chrome that I've found! Now I keep all my most-used tabs open as pins and it works so much better! Just make sure if you have them open when you launch Chrome you remove those or you'll have duplicates.
Thanks!

That's definitely a nice feature. I've been a long time FF user and I use pinned tabs with it. I will definitely keep this in mind as I continue evaluating Chrome.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing as Danp, I wonder if that's new to Chrome, FF has had it for years.

They've had it for a long time. I've never really liked it though as it makes the tabs to small/hard to click for me. It was added in 2009.

I'm just a huge Google fan so Chrome is my go-to.

I was a diehard Firefox user until about 3 years ago. Firefox didn't have the bookmark syncing and all that at the time, so that was the biggest selling point to me. I transitioned pretty quickly and haven't looked back, expect for one brief time.

and by brief, I mean about 24 hours.

Don't feel too bad, I never knew about it either.

Didn't know about it either... thanks for the tip.

You can turn any website into an "app button" on your iPhone too so you don't need to open a browser or navigate. Pretty handy for a few sites, like this one, that I go to constantly.
