We took the kids to Letchworth State Park which is always awesome. They have never been before, which blows my mind as that was my local park growing up.

@ajstringham it is indeed. Bonus points if you can name the canyon itself without looking it up. Obviously Letchworth is the park name, but not the canyon name.

You got me on that one. The last time I saw the Canyon I think I was 4 or 5...it wasn't even this century the last time I was at that park. LOL

You got me on that one. The last time I saw the Canyon I think I was 4 or 5...it wasn't even this century the last time I was at that park. LOL

it's the highlight of the year. It's the few weeks of the year that justify living in the north.

@scottalanmiller I don't know, get a snowmobile and you can go from Canada to the Pennsylvania border in ~15 hours... Although you need to like the snow.

Super fun, but a very expensive hobby. It helps that one of the main NYS trail corridors goes through my parent's yard.

That's true, I grew up in the area where snowmobiles at the gas pumps in down is common all winter along.

Yeah, I live in too much city to be a super-serious snowmobiler. That being said, the people down the road from me were VERY serious.

The traffic here has been insane! It was slow over the weekend though. During the week is when it's busiest.
