This ends up being two questions.

I have been asked to create distribution lists for our counties. I want to use a 'formula' to create the group names so that there is a standard going forward. I am considering this:

      • Office Staff - countyName

Also - Since I will now have mini-distribution lists, should I dump everyone out of the Main All - staff, and just ad the county distribution lists, so I don't have to manage more then one when someone comes or goes?

Hard to say about taking them out of the big list. Might make sense, but do you ever need to email absolutely everyone?

Myself - on rare occasions yes. It would be more for HR and our PR departments use.

Then keep it, you can always limit access to it.
