Remove Tree Sap from Car Paint
-
I bought one of my employer's REPOs yesterday and the car is in pretty good shape overall. However, I noticed that there is tree sap in various places on the body. The sap has been sitting a while, but I can work it off with my fingernail so I know it will come off.
I am looking for a cleaning product that is safe on auto paint and preferably some type of natural cleaner.

Try hot white Vinegar. Place a rag on the spot and soak with hot vinegar...

The other option is WD40 but that can dull the paint.

any light distillate will work, you could even try gasoline. they make "bug off" that would more than likely work as well.
