That's the product that Scott and company were developing, while he may say it's not a dead product, it essentially is as nothing has been done with it for a long time.
No need for it, Tactical RMM basically took exactly our ideas and did a great job with them quite quickly. So we'd be just duplicating their work. TRMM is far from finished and doesn't do everything that we wanted to do, but they are coming along fast and do a great job so far using exactly the design we were going for. Even integrating with the same third party OSS tools!

So why is the website still around? Isn't it costing money to maintain those services?

Of course it does, and we all know it. It may be trivial, but it costs.

It would cost more to shut it down. Since it is already hosted and no cost is assigned to it specifically.

This makes no sense, it would take what 10 minutes to turn it off?
Where as keeping it around means you're using resources to keep it around.

But 10 seconds worth of resources though. It's free. Literally free. Not one penny goes out because of it. It doesn't use its own server, account, nada.

It uses web resources, even if it's a trivial amount of them.

Sure, but not ones that are paid for. So free. That it uses, theoretically unmeasureably small resources isn't in dispute, it's whether money is paid for them before of this that matters... and none is.

I see that its a very active development and think I need to give it a try.Not many people using it that I know of, we just started using it in the last few weeks. but I've been following it for a while. They see to be doing some awesome stuff.
