Change Background Color on LibreOffice Writer Document

It is easy to figure out how to change the background color of the text area in LibreOffice Writer: simply go to Format -> Page -> Area and set the color. But this leaves a white border that normally is not wanted.

The border color can be changed by going to Tools -> Options -> Application Colors and changing the Document Background setting.
