XenServer Error that I've never seen before
-
VM is a Windows 2012 R2, was just doing a reboot and got that error. Windows at one point booted and had an error but was unable to get logged in to find out. Suggestions?
-
@krisleslie this is what I can find for the error (closet thing anyways). There are some other options, which include deleting some VDI's but they don't seem to be the same issue.
-
It booted up now took a long time. What should I look for to diagnose?
-
Good that you got it booted.
 Is the host memory over-provisioned?
-
@momurda No. It's a application server just running Ubiquiti NVR. However it does run on a RAM Drive for about 4 GB only for the NVR to write to it for fast access. Other than that, nothing out the ordinary going on.
-
Strongly considering moving to linux for the nvr as I see and hear it does better with memory management for the NVR.
-
Um, just a question, are you using XenServer 7.3? If so is your host over committed on RAM? If so, Dynamic Memory Control has been disabled and is likely the culprit.

@dustinb3403 said in XenServer Error that I've never seen before: so, Dynamic Memory Control has been dis 7.1 not 7.3
