Are gifs disabled?

I tried changing my avatar to another gif, but it is just showing a still image. Is gif not supported anymore?

No - not disabled. It however could be the file size. - the Avatar image size is limited.

Hmm that could have be it right there. Was it still animated on your computer after you cropped it?

Okay - It appears that there is a 'issue' with the image height. If you can shrink it about 4 or so more pixels, it may go. It's playing correctly until the system crops it.
