Global PC Demand Dropping As Consumers Leave the Market

While globally the need for business desktops is still increasing, it is not growing quickly enough to offset the drop in demand for PCs from the consumer market. Increasing prices from late 2016 and continuing now in 2017 are encouraging desktop spending to slow as consumers are tending to wait out the market adjustment or to leave the market completely abandoning the "computer at home" market.
