what will the hardware configuration for that setup

You need to supply way more details, like your backup strategy, current size of the data, estimated yearly / 5y data growth etc.

You need to supply way more details, like your backup strategy, current size of the data, estimated yearly / 5y data growth etc.
While this is all true - you're making a backup server, right? Other than HDD resources - how much data are you backing up? how much daily change is there? how far back do your backups need to go - the resourced needed for a backup server are pretty minimal. If you do things like Dedup, then you'll need more RAM/CPU.

RAM?CPU?HDD?That's tiny. NetBackup is meant for enterprise environments. I've never heard of any NB deployment with fewer than three or four hundred individual servers. That's less than a single server there! Why NB?
