Finally got Openstack up and running today.
The full Openstack? That quite an achievement!
It's an all in one. I couldn't manually set up neutron if you had a gun to my head.

Ah, ok. I don't remember seeing that option when I looked at it, but that was something like 5 or 6 years ago now. Still, I'd give you a big thumbs up if the emoji were working.

Ya RedHat has a packstack option. Ubuntu has devstack.
This wasn't very hard at all. Hardest part was figuring out what network type to set up.

Nice, I'll have to look into OpenStack options sometime soon... and I actually have time to work on some of these projects now.

Red Hat released hyperconvergence this week as well.

Speak of the devil. I'm on the RedHat site not looking at there certs as a model for self-training curriculum.

I haven't used RHEV but I wasn't impressed with oVirt. It is kind of cool that you can manage Gluster with it though.
-
Ah looks like the hyperconverged stuff is using Gluster.

It is, yes.

I have access until October, so I may as well get something out of it. Restarting https://linuxacademy.com/linux/training/course/name/linux-academy-redhat-certified-systems-administrator-prep-course, now that some during-the-week time has been reclaimed.

Would like to thank @Mike-Davis for the UBNT M5 units, they are working perfectly for a point to point bridge

Doing a Windows 10 / Korora 25 dual boot install. Will see shortly whether or not it works.

Good birthday day with the family. Got a kreg jig for making pocket holes and a magnetic USB rechargeable LED flashlight for my birthday. Now, time for sleep.

I get why the post is wrong... But why is that even a question? People perception of cost generally has nothing to do with the reality.

Also like surveys on SW.

On the way to the office for Windows patching, but I stopped off for brunch. Beer and coffee on a Sunday.
