The group said they also grabbed unsalted passwords, which is really bad. The software itself is not infected, just the installer. From what I've read, the "malware" just overwrites the MBR, so a
fdisk /mbrcould fix this.
Better scan your machine using a live Linux scanner.

Nah, heard that before. I think it came up a few years ago when some other FOSS project hosting site closed its doors. Not sure. Never reached much publicity, I guess.
