You want one to that costs a bunch of money? Is 4K good enough?

I'm assuming you want an inexpensive one. Are you able to turn the lights off in the room? Do you need it to be fairly portable?

Yes, inexpensive. Yes, light can be off. No, portable is not needed, it's mounted to the ceiling.

This is a decent projector for this type of thing. Not the brightest or fastest refresh rate but good enough for presentations.

What's not too expensive? I think $300 will get you something quite a bit better. How much resolution does he need? You are already above 720p. Is 1080p enough or does be need more like 1920x1600?

                Sorry I had to.

                https://www.barco.com/en/Products/Projectors/Large-venue-projectors/40000-lumens-2K-3-chip-DLP-projector.aspx

40K of Ansi Lumens at 4K resolution.

Buy 2, stack them together, you now have 80K of projected light. 🙂

                  "Brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens"

What mug would spend 28K for that?

I've always been fascinated with DLP. That has to be one of the coolest technologies.

I've had good luck with Optoma projectors.
