Make Facebook comments appear on website
-
I know quite few of you on here are anti-facebook so I am not sure that anyone will know much about this, but here it goes.
I created a local fishing facebook group that is quite popular. We are hosting monthly fishing tournaments, events, and working with some smaller corporate sponsors. The page is very active almost like a forum or community. The page is so active because many of the fishermen are networked to each other. When you have a friend that posts in the group, all his/her friends get the notifications.
I am working with another guy in the group to build a website in addition to the facebook page. The website will help get new followers, corporate sponsors, and be used for organizing events. My dilemma is that I know our members will not use the website. Its just so much easier to get a notification to your phone and just reply to a picture of somebody holding a fish.
My question is How can you link Facebook comments to appear on your website? For example, the NHL will post a news article on NHL.com on their Facebook page. When you look at the comments, you see "This comment will also be posted to NHL.com"
Does anyone know how to do this? It is much easier to get Facebook engagements than website engagements.

Facebook Social integration. Dont know how it works I'm sure it's an API. Wordpress might have a premade plugin.

From my understanding and usage of that in the past, it seems that the social integration plugin works backwards to what I am looking for. It allows people to comment on your website using facebook credentials. I am looking for the comments to be pulled directly from facebook. Maybe there is a piece that allows this from the Facebook team, but I am not sure.

What about this?

While I haven't searched for it; Both Joomla! and WordPress have plugins that should work.
