Force logoff in server OU after 10 minutes inactivity
-
I want to make a group policy that forces an automatic log off after 10 minutes of inactivity on my Server OU and sub OUs. Any tips on how to accomplish this?

Administrative templates\control panel\display\password protect the screen saver and screen saver timeout.
That'll lock it but I don't know how to log one off totally. That'd be a bit of a risky move.

This is what I would do. I haven't tested it yet though. You'd need group policy loopback processing enabled to make this work.
Make a GP in your server OU. Go to user configuration - Preferences - Scheduled Tasks.
Then Set the general settings
Under Triggers add idle.
Under actions chose add action and start a program put shutdown.exe with argument /l /f (logoff and force)
Then Set your idle time.

I push out a similar task like this on one network that forces all machines to reboot at 4am on Mondays. It is amazing how much it improved random issues.
