So, the last few days, my normally quick and agile Acer Aspire 2 in 1 has been a tad bit sluggish.

Tonight I was looking at the memory management and Task Manager - I'm only running with about 25% free memory. This bothers me - Most people don't notice when the mouse is 'skippy' across their screen,.. but for it it's very apparent and annoying.

Looking at it I find that nearly 1.5GB of memory is being used by one process - E-GADS!

Has anyone had any experience with this 'IntelTechnologyAccessServices.exe being such a hog?

Looks like it might be part of Intel V Pro. Usually with these kinda of computers I just re-install Windows from a Pro/Enterprise Disk I have and use as much of the bu lit in drivers, only install the driver programs that actually give you features you need. You can of course disable start-up if you wanted to as well. But I like them as clean as possible.

          Process Researching -

Other than Google, which doesn't always 'find the process' what resources are available to locate information on processes,.. like the one above or wrsa.exe ,WUDFhost.exe and such?

Well,... this thread may be part of the issue. Seems the March 10 update is part of the issue...

Ran through a few things, and happened upon the uninstall / repair option.
I ran the repair, which subsequently required a reboot (no surprising on a system service).

Currently the system performance has increased back to 'normal'.
