ps2 to usb adapters

@IRJ correct, You can buy these for about $2.00 ( from China), as I just did, and will
 see how well they work.

@IRJ sadly, have my "attachments" and a couple of my old keyboards fall into that category, they have worked for "oh so many years" and just keep on working, thus
 my attachments.

USB is a wholly different technology than PS/2. One is digital, one is analogue. No, they're actually both digital. And serial communication as well. Your probably thinking about vga versus dvi/hdmi.

No, I was thinking of the PS/2, I was just wrong. There's a difference between confused and wrong. LOL https://www.nutsvolts.com/magazine/article/get-ascii-data-from-ps-2-keyboards Yeah, that's digital signaling.

If I really think about is, most keyboards prior to PS/2 were using more traditional serial adapters. Which were digital. Duh.

Actually the first IBM PCs used the same type of electrical interface but a different connector, a 5 pin DIN. The mouse was a real 9-pin serial DSUB at first though. If my memory is correct LOL
