      This is not an ad served by Spiceworks, it's obviously a Google ad and the genius sysadmins (and community managers) don't realize it.

        Who sees ads anymore? uBlock origin is your friend. Shiteworks is not.

          SW used to be curated ads only. That Google ads were added is a newer thing that not everyone expects.

            @scottalanmiller other than Spiceworks has always used Google for remnant space and the first iterations of the desktop product solely used Google ads.

                Correct, and it is not like they don't understand it, it is that ads have been very strange lately and no one is looking at the quality of them.
