WireGuard for Windows is still in pre-alpha, but it's looking very good.
WireGuard is a new peer-to-peer VPN technology that has the potential for greater speed, smaller attack surface, and easier configuration than commonly used and better-established VPN platforms such as OpenVPN and IPSec

Cpanel Price increases are leaving webhosting companies waving pitch forks. It is a complete different pricing model, a completely greedy pricing model.

It's only greedy if the customers decide that it is worth it and it maximizes profits.

cPanel is pretty awful. Companies using it feel lost. Like they are building businesses without any idea of what goes on underneath. Pretty much waving flags identifying themselves as prime targets for huge price increases because they self identify as depending totally on cPanel to build their business.

Microsoft asks to join private Linux security developer list

Microsoft's migration from Linux enemy to Linux friend continues in security circles.
Almost all of Linux's development work is conducted in the open. Almost.

                                      LOL - that's not greed.

Georgia courts (mostly) shrug off ransomware attack

But a Florida city pays $600k in ransom and still faces $1m in security fixes.
A spokesman for Georgia's Administrative Office of the Courts has confirmed that the AOC's information technology team discovered ransomware on the organization's servers on Saturday.

HP, Dell, Microsoft, and Amazon look to move some hardware production out of China

HP, Dell, Microsoft, and Amazon are the latest companies to consider moving some of their hardware production out of China in light of the ongoing trade war with the US.
Nikkei reports that HP and Dell are both looking to move up to 30 percent of their laptop production out of the country.

"All of which makes good sense. Besides, Levin revealed in a follow-up note to the discussion that: "the Linux usage on our cloud has surpassed Windows,"

Hmmm.... Is Levin talking about Azure? Don't know, but I think so. If so, I am trying to figure out why choose Azure over AWS or any others if doing Linux Systems?
