Zimbra Update Fails with Validating LDAP Configuration, Cannot Create TLS Connection to LDAP Masters
-
Trying to run Zimbra updates (from 8.8.8 to 8.8.10) but getting the following error.
Validating ldap configuration Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters. Fix cert configuration prior to upgrading.
Zimbra says to do the following...
su - zimbra zmlocalconfig -e ssl_allow_untrusted_certs=true zmlocalconfig -e ldap_starttls_supported=0 zmlocalconfig -e ldap_starttls_required=false zmlocalconfig -e ldap_common_require_tls=0 zmcontrol restart
What while that runs successfully, it has no effect on the installer. Same error after doing so.

I tried this, which worked with older versions, but is not working now.

Apparently a new install didn't get the mta running after installing a certificate either. Probably different issues, but I'll take another look when I get home tonight.

So it worked by rebooting. WTF

Well, guess I'll give that a shot myself. WTF indeed.
