With 14.10 barely out, Ubuntu 15.04 is underway.

Hey, they only have 6 months. Honestly, they probably have parts of 15.10 underway already. If they are smart, they do.

Absolutely, they must be working on this stuff around the clock. Although each update is relatively small so the individual changes are not that monumental.
