Google Sites - The Good The bad
-
Honestly,.. I can't say anything really good about them... yea they are free,.. but is free really worth the painful page editing? In my opinion - no.
Sadly - for now it's what I have to work with for a club site. I am HOPING to move it to a better hosted system in the future,.. but for now,.. I have to work with this....
Ugh.. I really have better things to do with my time.

Yeah, I have them on my GSuite, and it is not nice when you want to post all your blog posts or scripts...

yea,.. the formatting is ridiculous...

Also all your site is stored in Google Drive, the only nice thing is that it is setup with SSL.

I'll have to look at that... wonder if it would be easier to edit there...

I used it for documentation at a job that was gsuite based. If adding pictures was easier and there was a shortcut for block quote it might have been acceptable

Found another annoyance with Google Sites and the attached email..
Send mail limits.... Ugh.. Like I now have to send more than two emails to get through my notification list. That is unacceptable. Yes, I know I could use something like MailChimp or similar.. but I don't have the free time to put into that right now. And if I move off of G-Sites to hosted.. would that be an issue any longer?
sigheta
I should add - that is PER DAY... so... Ugh... two days to cover the list.
