Selecting a VPS Provider

What is important to you when selecting a VPS Provider?
Price? Speed? Location?

For me it would be price first and then location. I don't think speed will be an issue with most providers.

@brandon220 I've had problems with noisy neighbors occasionally so now I make it a point to ask about their policies about what they do when someone complains about speed/performance.

@nashbrydges So far, all of the VPSs I have are light duty such as a Unifi Controller and general test servers. Most of them could be considered an off-site lab. I haven't had any noticeable issues yet. I can see your point though. I would definitely have different criteria for more important workloads.

Location is really low on my list.
