Spam filtering software
-
Hey guys I have a client who is using thunder bird that is getting a lot of spam. I'm looking for a program to help filter his email on a windows PC.
He is looking at spamfighter but I have no experience with this program. I don't know if it's a good choice or not.
Thank you

AH yes! emails are through liquid web inc.

$5 a month for a commercial email system (o365 / google apps for business) that has great spam filtering. Is there a reason you're on Liquid Web?

There is no reason this the first time he has brought it up. We didn't set it up either. o365 sounds like a good idea. I was personally thinking of gsuite.

@tech1 Sometimes it helps to take a step back and evaluate what you're really trying to do instead of look for a product for what is already in place. Liquid mail claims to filter, but clearly it's not working. o365 and gmail do a great job, so why not consider them? It would probably be better to filter it before it hits the client.

This is the problem. Unless you fix this, everything else will be a bandaid.

And for a single user.... the cost of looking at another option is too much. Office 365 is $4/mo... that's $48/year. That's hosting, storage, support, everything. And that's a top end, luxury level service. It only gets cheaper from there.
