      Re: Indoor Surveillance Camera

I got a requirement for 6 cameras (3 indoor & 3 outdoor) for a friend. He has a 3 storied apartment and has wifi issues already. So i am looking for cameras with below options:

HD view & recording to a local device, he is not very keen on cloud storage
Alerts on motion, notification etc, preferably through a mobile app.
Talk back through the camera (nice to have, for his kids' room)
The climate here is really harsh on summer (currently the temp has gone up to 55 Degree! So something that can stand this
      Vandel protection as well
Outdoor, nice to have a 360 degree option

If your friend is rich Meraki has local storage in their cameras.

            Okay I'm done joking around...

              That's what I would use.

I have used Ubiquiti Cameras a lot. Their first gen stuff was bad. There Second and Third Gen stuff is awesome. Their NVR Software keeps improving.

I don't believe they have a 360. But at the price of their cameras you could get the job done with multiple cameras at the fraction of the cost of a 360 camera.

I wouldn't mind AMD things, but I think that was supposed to be an and.

Why is a vendor specifying the equipment that's being purchased? Please don't make us put this in the "Burned by eschewing best practices" thread!
