PHP 7.2 Slated to Release in November 2017

After many years of things being pretty boring and stagnant in PHP-land, the PHP 7 release has really opened the world to the possibilities that exist with a fast, powerful and more modern PHP platform. PHP 7.1 is currently out and in production use and PHP 7.2 is due to arrive in November of this year, providing us with still more features in the popular platform, according to Phoronix.

Our production web server is on 7.1 already, for example.

Anything interesting to look forward to in 7.2?

I looked and didn't see anything of real interest. Some improvements, but really pedestrian stuff.

Maybe we are in for something good when 8.0 comes out.
