My phone Coolpad note 5 has issue in front camera flash which is not working now and USB is also not detected in Windows machine.so I decided to root my phone.anyone help me to root my phone.all software is up-to-date in my phone

Do u know to root phone
It's different for every device, so almost always no.
Also, I don't think rooting the device will help with hardware issues (the front camera flash). The not seen on a Windows computer could be an issue with Windows itself and not the device, does it still get power for charging when plugged into the Windows computer?

@travisdh1 it's different from Windows machine but the phone is not detected in Linux too.when I checked with same cable with phone.The USB is working for that Machine.the front camera is working with flash for video but not working for taking pictures

@Lakshmana Have you tried the factory reset on the phone yet? If a factory reset doesn't fix the issues, it's probably hardware and not easily repairable.

@travisdh1 I can't do that because 32 GB of data present it.if I do many data have to be copied to any external hard disk.so it is hard to do.without factory reset any other choice

That's going to happen should you root the device anyway. Better to have it backed up now.
