MY Cloud IT for Azure RDS

Has anyone here used them for a Azure RDS deployment?
Any other suggestions for a 100 user build out?

Never heard of them. What is it exactly that you are looking for? You want to get a hosted RDS system for 100 users? We'd need more details. And I'd not use Azure, that will racket up the expense significantly.

70-100 user RDS deployment for remote and in office employees to access multiple LOB applications.
Local infrastructure won't work due to the number of satellite locations, Remote workers and infrastructure limitations.
There would need to be 3-4 cloud based Windows application servers and a SQL server.

I know there have been other products discussed in the past that appear to be RDS alternatives but still require RDS licensing. I was just curious if anyone has looked at www.winflector.com ? They claim that they are not using RDS with their product. So would something like this only require Server 20XX User Cals and no RDS Cals? If that's the case might be something to look into.

Honestly, I doubt that Azure (or even Vultr) will be that cost effective at this scale.

Using RDS has nothing to do with the licensing. It's Windows that needs RDS CALs if you access it in that way, whether you use RDS technology or not. So literally there is no getting around the licensing.

So basically no matter what method someone comes up with for creating multiple sessions to the same machine, it's always going to require RDS Cals?
Winflector does not use the Windows Terminal Services (TM) nor the Citrix products. Neither does it use the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

Correct. Because RDS CALs are about accessing Windows and nothing else. The only work around is to use Linux (or another OS) instead of Windows.

If you aren't careful, that's how you end up getting hit with both RDS and VDI licensing at the same time!

Oh I understand. I have not personally used winflector. It looked interesting with their claim of not using RDS I figured it was a workaround MS licensing.

I actually think in their FAQ they mention that all you need are Windows Server User Cals for their product.

Probably just a clever way to get people to assume that. Not the first company to bank on that exact process.
