      Hi Gurus,

Have you come across a browser or chrome extension that will display my current IP address when I launched my browser? I'm hoping to see my IP address where the bookmark bar location is located. I'm using VPN but sometimes i forget to launch the browser via VPN.

Or an alternative that will aid me on my challenges will help as well.

Thank you very much in advance and more power to mangolassi.it

              Might be the best bet.

Set your home and new tab to open to either http://icanhazip.com/ or http://canihazip.com/, and you'll see your current ip when opening the browser and creating a new tab.

                  You can use BGInfo (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bginfo.aspx)

And then created a custom field following these instructions (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/johnbaker/2011/05/04/how-to-remove-the-none-ip-address-entries-in-bginfo-background/) to create background info about your IP Address on your Desktop.

Wrong IP. He wants his public IP, not the system IP.

You should try IP-Address chrome extension which will show your IP address when you click on it's extension icon after adding it into your chrome browser.
