Flip becomes SapientRazorfish

The company where i work (Flip) is now SapientRazorfish MENA
SapientRazorfish, as identified by Gartner and Forrester, is the leading global digital transformation agency with vast capabilities in the areas of business consulting, experience led design, technology, innovation and commerce. We have some great clients across the globe including Marks & Spencer, Lloyds TSB, Bosch, FCA, Audi and of course, many great local brands here in the region as well.
Part of the integration, technically we will be exposed to a great set of tools including Atlassian suite and more, really excited!

I wouldn't brag about being "identified by Gartner"... because they are strictly pay-to-play. Your company was "identified as a leader" because they bought that rating. Not exactly an accomplishment.

I was also skeptical about other Gartner reports, like VMware THAT WAY on top in the virtualizazion market, when XEN and KVM leads public cloud and are widespread in such many on-permise installation…

Yup, all Gartner claims should be ignored. All they show is "who was willing to spend the most money to be featured".

Gartner is a marketing firm and the enemy of IT pros. They use careful manipulation of stats and tricky statements to mislead. There is zero value to anything they say as they only serve to mislead.

Lots of good companies use Gartner as a marketing channel. It's good for selling to really uninformed businesses. But it isn't something to be proud of. It's like having an ad in a magazine. Anyone willing to pay for it gets it.

I will read more about these reports, this is somethung i never knew that its paid to get on it.
But i was just copying a piece of the whole news, for me i am more excited about the tech engagement options that is opened not just using better tools and process but is the gateway to work on more challenging and bigger projects.

If you ever look at a report, it's pretty obvious. They will do things like intentionally skip the best products in a category to make the second best product look like it is the best. Or they rename categories to make the category specific to the product in question. They use real statistics which makes their marketing powerful, but present them in a way that makes the products sound good.
It's inverse statistics. Instead of determining what matters and finding the products that are best at that thing, they start with a product and show you what it is best at.
