Starting the Job hunt again it looks like for me
What happened?? I'm right there with ya atm...
Long story, but I had an illness come up all the sudden, when I've been healthy all my life. They put me out on FMLA (without pay) anyway the doctors have been working on it and trying to get me the treatments but, tomorrow is the last day I can have off and the doctor won't release me to go back. He wants me off for around 3-4 weeks before returning to work. So yeah.. not fun all the way around.
Sorry to hear that man!

Trying to stay awake.
Night before last I got about 4 hours sleep. We had visitors in, and then after they left my mum wanted help listing something on ebay. At about ten minutes to midnight, I remembered that I have to be at work before 6am for a training webinar (which means leaving at 5:30am). Scurried to bed as fast as possible, about half an hour later my mum came in to open my door for the heater to work/check on me (old habit from when we were little). She hovered by my bed for what seemed like ages, (I was pretending I was asleep, like I wished I was). Finally I said, what's the matter? And she says, oh, there's a red light flashing on your phone. I groaned... a red light meant I hadn't pulled the blind down... which meant I hadn't even set an alarm.
So after shining a bright phone light in my eyes for several seconds, I gave up pretending, went downstairs and tried some portotherapy. Woke up semi chirpy a very few short hours later... -
Very little sleep here too. But the kids sneaked in and slept with us, so maximum snuggles.

So heading to home now.. been here at 6:00 am .
Peak period of online project ahhh
have fun to everyone staying here tonight... -
Time for work again.

Trying to get some motivation to get some coffee from the coffee shop across the street from work.

Isn't the coffee itself the motivation?

I seem to be stuck in a loop here. I need coffee to motivate me, but I need motivation to get coffee. But I have an answer I need someone to bring me coffee.

Quite a day here. Our youngest, only three years old, took a horrible fall down the entire flight of stairs in our house. Head over feet the whole way down and hit the wall at the bottom. Blood from one eye and her mouth. It was horrible Dominica raced her to the ER. She is home now. Appears that all is well. She has been acting fine for a few hours. The doctors thing that she just got cut a little and everything is fine. Such a scary morning!!

I'm writing a paper on a religious service I attended today. Has to be be at least 3 pages double-spaced.
I think I've got this, I have a Sierra Nevada IPA, a Centennial IPA, and a Dirty Bastard to help get the creative juices flowing
After I'm done with these last two classes, I'm taking a break and finally working full time on some certifications. Seeking credits towards a Bachelor's degree is doing diddly squat for me right now except incurring debt which I do not want.
-
For whom are you writing such a paper?

Thus is the nature of degrees. Same for my Masters.

Fun.
Working on Azure stuff here.

Reading through that RAID5 SW thread that Scott was sent a S.A.M. signal for 4 or 5 days ago. It seemed a little flammable there for a little bit but by page 8-9 things are civil & very interesting read overall. I'm still a little noobsicle (what I consider at least a half-step above just outright noob) when it comes to the RAID & what the exact pros & cons are of each, so it was still a good read overall especially for the learner in me.

I would rather be doing that. Actually, I just finished all 5 pages of my little experience this morning. It only took a Sierra Nevada IPA, and a Founders Centennial IPA.
The final brew is a Founders Dirty Bastard, I'm trying to figure out what to do while sipping on that one.......I have a folder creation script and some screenshots I need to grab for a how-to I'm working on updating. Maybe I need to switch over to that.....

Yeah it almost got out of control a couple of times, some with the herp derp responses and some herp derp replies from the OP that almost caused a derail. Been a while since a good RAID discussion was had.
